Born from the desire to document the forging of a single katana by a young, master katana kaji (katana smith), the project and our appreciation quickly expanded as we met with each successive master participating in the birth and life of this single katana.
From solo documentary to multi-episode series, and with the generous support of our viewers, we hope to continue producing new episodes until our work is the most comprehensive, entertaining and accessible source of education available into the world of katana.
