Bearing the inscription Sukesada, this Wakazashi is from the late Muromachi Period between 1558 and 1592. Its hamon is midareba. These swords were mass-produced by hand from Bizen, Osafune during a time of war, so the materials used were often irregular, and the inscription rough. Though it has an old polish, there is no significant rust.

The small knife in the sheath, called kozuka kogatana is considered a collector's item.
